Timeline
Since the granting of the Planning Permit in 2011, considerable work has been done to put in place the many different arrangements necessary to construct and operate a wind farm. These include:
- Discussions with potential investors and providers of debt funding
- Conducting a tender process for the selection of turbine supplier and balance of plant contractor
- Organising detailed grid connection studies in concert with Network Service Provider Powercor
- Sourcing a Power Purchase Agreement for the sale of energy and Large Scale Generation Certificates (LGCs)
- Finalising arrangements with the landowner
- Detailed planning in regard to compliance with the Permit Conditions
- Corporate structuring to provide investment opportunities for the community
The expected timeline for the construction of the wind farm is shown below.
