Wind farms provide a return to investors from both the sale of the electricity generated and the sale of the Large Scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) attached to this energy. As a shareholder in a wind farm, any rise in the cost of your household energy should be offset to some extent by an increase in the dividends from the wind farm.
Future Energy is the company behind the Hepburn Wind community wind farm project (www.hepburnwind.com.au), and is keen to provide a means for investment in the Chepstowe Wind Farm by local residents either as individuals, as a community co-operative, or through superannuation funds. More details of these arrangements will be released when available.
If you have an interest in investing in Chepstowe (or any of our other wind farm projects), please complete the form below and you will be added to our database and contacted as soon as the community investment arrangements are finalised.
